First appear in the Sewer Hideout drainage pool; also in the flooded lower area and later chapters.
Step-by-Step
- On land: avoid stepping on them, or deliberately step on one and tap the prompt to break free.
- In water: toss stones to lure hands away from your landing spots before jumping crate to crate.
- For Handshot: shoot a trap with the handgun or shotgun before it grabs you.
- Never rush a retreating hand — the quick slap as it retracts can still grab you.
